Ordering & Colour Matching

Your car’s paint code is usually located on a data plate, sticker, or plaque somewhere on the vehicle. Common locations include inside the driver’s door sill, under the bonnet (near the engine strut or latch), inside the boot area, or under the spare wheel well.

  • Tip: You can use our Find My Vehicle lookup tool on our homepage by submitting your vehicle details, or contact us directly if you’re having trouble locating it.

If you can’t locate the physical code on your car, you can usually find it by calling your local main dealership’s parts department and providing them with your registration number (VIN). Alternatively, get in touch with our team with your vehicle make, model, and year, and we will do our best to help you identify it.

Yes. All of our colour-matched paints are mixed using state-of-the-art computerized formula technology to match your vehicle’s original factory paint code. Please keep in mind that older vehicles may have experienced natural paint fading over time due to UV exposure, so blending the new paint into the surrounding area is always recommended for a seamless finish.

Yes! We offer unique finishes for specialized brands, including matte and metallic finishes (such as Cupra Performance finishes). Ensure you select the correct variant when ordering.

Products & Application

Most modern vehicles use a “basecoat and clearcoat” system. The color-matched paint provides the correct pigment, but it will dry to a matte/satin finish and will not protect against weather. Applying a high-quality Clearcoat (Lacquer) is essential to achieve that glossy, factory finish and to protect the paint from scratches and UV rays.

Yes, we offer various Bundles to make your project easier and more affordable. Our bundles range from a basic Primer/Paint and Lacquer Bundle to our Colour Match All You Need Aerosol Bundle, providing you with everything required for a professional-looking DIY repair.

Preparation is the most important part of any refinishing job. We highly recommend using a Panel Wipe / Degreaser to remove all grease, wax, and silicone from the surface before spraying. You will also need a selection of Wet & Dry Sanding Packs to smooth down the damage and ensure the primer adheres correctly. These can all be found in our Accessories section.

  • Between paint coats: Allow 10–15 minutes of flash-off time between light coats (the paint should look uniform and dry to the touch).
  • Before clearcoat: Wait roughly 20–30 minutes after your final colour coat before applying the clearcoat.
  • Note: Drying times can vary depending on local temperature and humidity. Always read the specific instructions on the aerosol can before application.

Shipping, Delivery & Returns

We deliver across the UK. Standard delivery typically takes 2–5 working days. Because aerosols and paints are classified as hazardous materials (HAZMAT), they must be transported via specialised couriers, which can occasionally impact delivery timelines.

Yes. Once your order has been mixed, packed, and dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing tracking information so you can monitor its journey.

  • For Colour-Matched Paints: Because our colour-matched paints and aerosol sprays are custom-mixed specifically to your order and paint code, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds unless there is a manufacturing defect or an error on our part.
  • For Accessories & Stock Items: Unopened, unused standard stock items (such as generic primers, clearcoats, sandpaper, and panel wipes) can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Please review our full Returns Policy page for instructions on how to initiate a return.
